The vision
To expand the horizons of wilderness medicine to nursing professionals via online and hybrid training in wilderness, disaster, and austere medicine - to develop elite wilderness nurse first responders ready for any adventure or emergency.
We do this by providing quality, affordable, basic training programs in wilderness and disaster first aid to anyone interested with the goal of having a wilderness first responder in every household and community.
Our duty as nurses is to educate, train, and improve the health of those we serve.
Together, we can save lives and equip others to do the same.
Our platform exists to make wilderness medicine affordable and accessible. Some organizations charge large fees and require extended periods of travel and time commitments via on-site training that isn’t always possible or even necessary. We seek to fill that gap via our curriculum for already busy nursing professionals.
